Unable to add bank account to set up as auto pay.

Hello - I have a Xfinity WiFi. I am facing issues in setting up AutoPay option via my bank account. The Xfinity portal does not give me an option to add a bank account under AutoPay. When I use the Bank Account option under New payment method, it shows me an error message stating that my Xfinifty account cannot accept payments from a checking account. Please help.

@user_z3qhkn  Thanks for adding a post. Are you able to use the Xfinity app instead of the portal? I have the steps for you to add your checking acct here:  https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/setting-up-auto-payments

@user_z3qhkn You may need to call in to see if a representative can add that for you since we are unable to do that on our end.

Hello - I had called and spoke to a representative. I was informed that this will be resolved in the next month. But I have been facing this problem from September 2025 (since I got this connection). And every month, I am being informed that this will be resolved in the following month. Kindly help with a permanent solution.

user_z3qhkn I had a similar issue only to find out that the ABA payment option was disabled on the financial institution end of things. Do you have other ABA source withdrawals in motion or is this the first? That is the most common hiccup on the setup that I have seen pop up.
