Unable to update payment methods - Xfinity NOW Customer

Hello, I am a Xfinity NOW customer who has a technical background (I work as a Network Administrator for work), that is trying to update my debit card information in my account and regardless if I try a different browser, try it in a private/incognito browser window, or try it on the mobile app, it fails with the following error:

"Your payment method has been added, but attachment has failed", followed up with "Your payment method has been added, but we weren't able to attach it to NOW Internet. You can try to attach your payment method again on the plan details page."

I followed the error messages suggestion and received the error all over again.

My wallet on the portal, is still empty, so my card does not populate after this error.

This seems to be an issue on the system in the backend, can someone help troubleshoot what is wrong with my NOW account?

SpanishDexter To change Xfinity autopay, sign in to the Xfinity app or website, go to Billing or Bill details, select Bill settings, and then choose Payment methods to add or edit a payment method for autopay. You can add a new bank account or credit/debit card or select a previously saved one to use with autopay.

Using the Xfinity App (Recommended)

  1. Log in: Open the Xfinity app and log in with your Xfinity ID.
  2. Navigate to Billing: Tap the Account tab at the bottom, then select Bill details under the account balance section.
  3. Access Bill Settings: Tap Bill settings in the payment section.
  4. Manage Payment Methods: Select Payment methods to add a new payment method or manage existing ones.
  5. Add New Payment: Choose Add Payment Method and follow the prompts to enter your new bank account or credit/debit card information.
  6. Save and Confirm: Enter your details, agree to the terms, and tap Save. A confirmation message will appear.
