Unreturned Equipment Fee Error – Have Return Receipt (Requesting Refund/Credit for 2 Years of Charges)

Hello Xfinity Support Team,

I am requesting assistance with a long-term billing error on my account regarding unreturned equipment fees.

Two years ago, I returned my Xfinity modem in person and received a paper receipt confirming the turn-in. However, the equipment fee was never removed from my monthly statement, and I have continued to be billed for this modem ever since.

When I previously contacted support, I was told it was my responsibility to ensure the charge was removed. Because the equipment was successfully returned and documented, the error occurred during the inventory update on Xfinity's end. I have maintained the original return receipt, which clearly lists the serial/MAC number and date of return.

Since I have full proof of return, I am requesting that a representative reach out to me directly so I can submit a copy of this receipt and have the following resolved:

- A full back-credit or refund for all unearned equipment charges billed since the return date shown on my receipt.

Please let me know how I can securely transfer a scan/photo of my receipt to an official representative to begin the audit and credit process.

Thank you for your help in getting this resolved.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
