Upgraded xFinity unlimited data plan

I have been paying $120 for unlimited data - 4 lines with up to 20gb each before speeds slow down. I just found out xFinity upgraded their unlimited plan to up to 30gb of data, for what amounts to $100 for my devices. So I have been paying more than necessary ... for less. The reason customers weren't automatically switched to this new more affordble option is "some customers don't want to change plans because they are afraid"?? This is only for customers who find out about it on their own. So 7-8 months of xFinity charging me more just because they could? How do you justify treating your "most loyal and appreciated" customers this way?
