Why did my bill increase?

My bill rose from about $157 to about $175. Please explain why and let me know if I have options to reduce it. Thank you very much.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Thank you for reaching out to our Forums team, it’s great we can connect this way! I understand how concerning it is to receive a bill higher than expected.

Our awesome Xfinity app https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/viewing-your-bill-online-ecobill is great tool to view your bill to see what changes occurred. What I like about the app,  is you can go view your detailed bill and look at the PDF printed file of the bill and you can see every detailed charge on your account.  You should be able to look over the last 12 months bills, so what's good about that is, you can compare the last couple of bills line by line to see what has changed

If you had any discounts that have expired, you can go to https://www.xfinity.com/planbuilder and sign in and see what available promotional offer there is for your account.

Hey there, user_xog0ei, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your bill increase. I know how shocking it can be to receive a bill higher than you were expecting as I recently got a higher bill from my gym. We would be happy to help you get to the bottom of the increase and see what options we have available to ensure you are getting the best value.
