Worst service ever

Wow I’m really amazed when a big giant like xfinity can’t even verify if the address exists or not and provide home internet. All they want is to charge you for some of their reps mistake. We created an account for our new address and rep got the address completely wrong and added an address that doesn’t even exist. We figured that when we went to pick the router and immediately called them to check what happened and figured it was the wrong address so they told they are going to create a new account with the correct address and delete the wrong address account. We trusted them and after few months we realized we were being charged for the both the accounts and they both were on two different cards. So we disputed the charge and when xfinity reps called we told the same thing that the address isn’t ours and we have only one account. They saw the usage and customer rep told they will delete that account. After few months the amount is in collections stating we owe xfinity the amount. I just don’t understand all we have is 1 account and we are paying for it. For the mistake of customer rep adding some address that doesn’t even exist and forgot to delete now it’s collections. Worst service and now they are asking us to file for ID theft when it is clearly not a Id theft and purely failure from customer reps.

The account that went to collections. We have no idea about that account nor we have idea how to create an account for unknown one. The account that is know to us and use is a different one. Just wondering how come even the customer support at xfinity store can’t see the other account that went to collections.
