XFINITY 2025 INCREASE !

I see that our TRIPPLE PLAY rate (northeast region) has skyrocketing to almost $350/month. It feels that xfinity is continually yearly trying to discourage long term customers from staying with xfinity, instead maintaining their customer base... With my wife now on perm. disability and also raising our special needs grandson, and fixed income, dollars matter.

What is the CURRENT TRIPPLE PLAY (TV-internet-home phone) pricing which would be equivalent to my current package as these are never available to view/shop for from xfinity, even though there are links (links never work = extremely frustrating)...

We currently have 1-each X1 DVR box and 2-each small TV boxes (XiD-P).... along with the modem.

"Super+ More

Includes Limited Basic, Expanded Basic (Kids & Family,

Entmnt, Sports & News), Dig Preferred Tier, MGM+, Max ,

Showtime, TMC, More Sports & Entmnt, HD, Prem DVR

Svc, Gig+ Internet, Unlimited Voice & Netflix Standard

HD Plan"...

"TV Box + Remote Qty 3

Modem Rental"...

"Netflix Premium Upgrade $4.50

Enjoy UHD On Netflix (Netflix Standard Plan With HD Is

Included In Your Bundle Services)".

ALSO: One of our XiD-P boxes has been having an error stating "to pause and rewind live tv, inset the card"... ??? We have not ever touched this box as its behind the TV, how could a card be missing? Tried restarting, unplugging, etc., no fix for it...

Mine went up $50 from December to January. Starting to look elsewhere as this feels like highway robbery.

@user_5eot3v I hear you. I have been going round and round with support here (which worked great for us the last time a few years ago) with no less then 10 change over on representatives in chat, stating we can get you a cheaper rate, but my resultant I did get was $3 cheaper... I was finally told that the rates in the xfinity 'plan builder' ( https://www.xfinity.com/digital/offers/plan-builder ), once you sign-in, will be the only rate options offered/available... My plan rate creeped up from a few years ago some 80-$100... Combine this with the NJNG and JCPL increases, I'm up about a total of $400 a month in home living costs, more then any increase from my employer or wife's minimal perm. disability, let alone other cost of living increases such a taxes. Instead of xfinity trying to retain customers, they seem to want to push them away more and more.

Now I was getting an error message that "There’s a pending order on your account. To make changes, choose the service above. You may have limited options to modify your pending order" and contact chat support to see if they could see this 'pending order' as I can't. They instantly put me on a call back without asking first, and I was not able to understand the incredible heavy accent the call back agent had. I asked if they could check/remove any pending orders so I could sign in and make changes, for which I got a reply about me needing assistance to pay my bill... then I said I can't understand you and no thank you for help at this time and ended the call. Of course, they called back six more times.

IF there are no special offers to retain customers, and the only price is that which shows in the 'plan builder', then I can work with that and cancel portion of my plan until I get an acceptable rate... until which time I can location another viable option... but the option for change plan gets me to an error...

Another thing I saw in my web page hoping is the xfinity rewards program... great I thought, I have been with the inception of our local area comcast up to the renaming to xfinity all the way thru today (15 years in February since the renaming), however I am only a customer for 11 years according to xfinity.

BEST OF LUCK TO YOU 5eot3v !
