Xfinity is Scamming me
I have been a customer of Xfinity internet for over 8 years in total and most recently in the house I live now, it is my only option for internet service which is incredibly disappointing. Since living at my house for 3.5 years my account has been on auto-pay for the entire duration of my service and have always paid on time. I have never had an issue until October of this year when my regular bill went from $60-85 to $289 in a matter of a month. When I inquired about it, I sat on the phone for over 3 hours with MANY different people who all told me different things than the other did. The only thing I was told was that even though my account is on auto-pay and that I always pay in full that "just because the bill says the cost is one thing it might be different and your account will go into default if you dont pay that". I asked the representative why the bill that Xfinity sends me and charges on auto-pay would be wrong and how that would be my fault, I got no answer. Xfinity has now put my account on a PAYMENT PLAN! without my consent for these "charges" that I some how did not pay. If I could find any other service in my area I would get rid of Xfinity for good. This company is a scam and I dont understand how what they are doing is legal. They don't even have a place to make a compliant or file a concern which makes sense for a company like this. 0/10 recommend.
