Xfinity payment declines

My Xfinity bill payment keeps getting declined. Autopay was declined Oct 7 and Oct 14 and then turned off, and a manual payment on Oct 14 also showed "Payment Declined" with no reason. I have tried more than one card and each one is declined. I think the problem may be with my Xfinity account, but I don't know that. Can someone from the team look into it? I can send my account details by private message. I'd also like a note on my account that I tried to pay on Oct 14, so I'm not charged a late fee or disconnected while this is sorted out.

Thanks for contacting us. If your automatic payment is still being declined after you updated your payment information, please contact your financial institution to find out why the payment is not going through.

You could only be charged a late fee if you don't make your payment by the time your next bill cycle date comes out

Thanks for the reply. I've tried more than one card and each is declined at Xfinity. Could you check whether there's a hold or payment-processing problem on my Xfinity account, rather than referring me back to the bank? What is my next bill cycle date, and can you confirm whether any late fee will apply while this is investigated? I can provide account details privately if needed.

If there were any type of hold on your account, you would get a notification that your access to making online payments has been blocked. In this type of situation where your automatic payments are being declined on your due date, you would need to reach out to your financial institute to see what's causing the issue.

You can check your cycle date through the Xfinity app, as when you pull up your detailed billing statement it will show what your bill date is on page one.

The only way you could be charged a late fee is if your next bill came out and you still had not made your payment from last month.
