Xfinity Plan pending store pickup order

Hello,

I am a new Xfinity customer and began a student discount internet plan on Monday, October 14th (10/14/2024). I set up this plan with the help of a live agent and my purchase includes xFi complete equipment, which I requested as a store pickup from the location closest to me. When I try to check the status of my order by going to this URL (https://www.xfinity.com/buy/plan/myplan), my plan is shown as "Pending" and has shown as such since the 14th.

I am able to access Xfinity hotspots through my plan, so I know that it's active. Is there something that I need to do on my end to confirm my equipment pickup order or could I have assistance getting this confirmed? Please let me know if more information is needed.

user_8327en Thanks for reaching out to us today, and welcome to Xfinity! It sounds like everything is on the right track for you. Your order will remain pending until a Xfinity Gateway is added to the account, and activated at your location. Once the account is fully activated billing will start, and you'll be good to go!

Thank you for the reply, but I'm a little confused - is getting a Gateway added to my account managed by Xfinity or will I need to contact the store I chose for pickup to see about getting it added?

user_8327en Great question! When you go to pick up the Gateway, it will be added at that time.
