"You'll need to make a payment in person. Please visit an Xfinity Store near you."???

I got this message recently while trying to make a payment: "You'll need to make a payment in person. Please visit an Xfinity Store near you.". I went to the office, paid cash to make my account current. I'm still getting the same message. Do I have to start going to the office, because that is very inconvenient.

@Julia711940 Thanks for creating this post. We can help!

There are a few reasons why payments can be restricted to in-store only.

If you have two or more payments returned for the same payment type within 180 days.

A payment over $500 is returned.

If your first payment that isn’t a deposit payment is returned.

If you go against the Payment Terms and Conditions, like making more than one payment for the same amount, using the same credit card on the same day can cause a restriction.

Payment restrictions stay on the account for a minimum of six months.

Additional payment issues could extend the payment restriction.

Often time you may be blocked from one method or both. Are you blocked from making payment via Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) and credit card?
