Catchy Comedy

I like to watch Catchy Comedy, channel 234 in Denver. This channel has been included in my service for as long a I can remember. Today, upon navigating to Catchy Comedy, I was informed that this was now a subscription???

My bill has gone up $60 over the last few years and you take away a "free" channel? What gives? Why this change? It was there last week!

WHCT-LD TV in Hartford, Connecticut is a free to view, over-the-air TV station, which carries MeTV on its main 35.1 digital channel, so why do we have to pay extra to watch a FREE to view broadcast station such as MeTV?? Catchy Comedy is carried on the same channel as MeTV in your area on over-the-air digital broadcast stations. Same here in Connecticut.

Just chatted with Xfinity.  They say it's a temporary issue and they are "working on it."  I was told I'd get an email when it's fixed.  I'll try to remember to post.  We may need to restart the cable boxes.  Both MeTV and Catchy Comedy are both still on the channel list on their website.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. I understand the frustration if you are receiving an error for a channel you are subscribed to. If you are still experiencing this error please try the following steps:

  1. Press the A button on your remote control to access the Help menu.
  2. Press the OK button to select the Restart tile.
  3. Press the OK button again to select Restart.
  4. It may take a few moments for the TV Box to restart.

If you use the Xfinity Stream App to view your TV content, please log out, uninstall the Xfinity Stream App, and then reinstall the app. You will be prompted to log back in. If the app is still not working for you after doing that, please let us know.

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)

  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
