@user_qt5wau Thank you so much for reaching out to us regarding the CHSN channel. NBC Sports Chicago notified Comcast and others that it’s ceasing operations on September 30, 2024. This decision is outside of Comcast’s control and was solely made by NBC Sports Chicago.
We offer a range of alternative content that may offer similar viewing options. Peacock, ESPN, Fox Sports 1, and CBS Sports Network offer a wide variety of sports programming. You can also say “sports” into your Xfinity Voice Remote to find other sports programming.
Thanks for the response, however, none of those channels will have the quantity of Blackhawks and Bulls games that CHSN will have. Thanks for considering the views of one of your passionate customers.
The Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawks, and Chicago White Sox who were previously available on NBC Sports Chicago will now air on a new Regional Sports Network (RSN) called Chicago Sports Network (CHSN). Currently, both CHSN and over-the-air antenna channels 62.2 and 62.3 aren't available on Xfinity.
Note: Over-the-air antenna channels 62.2 and 62.3 are only available in the Chicagoland area.

I am ready to cut the cord with Xfinity. Local sports is literally the only reason I subscribe with them. They are risking losing a large amount of customers here. BTW, AT&T is offering CSN!
user_b3coxq thank you for using the Community Forums page to reach out regarding your channel lineup. I understand wanting this particular channel, and although it is not a part of our lineup as of date this can always change in the future. We are constantly improving our lineups to fit the needs of our customers, however this is not a change that has been made just yet.

I have Xfinity cable for ONE REASON: HOMETOWN SPORTS!! We're done after the next billing cycle. I already pay for the sports package, and missing out on........sports, kind of defeats the purpose. YouTube & HULU sports, I'm on my way!!!
The answers on here are simply canned responses (read as BS). Between the outages/bad connectivity of late, just another reason to move on from these guys. There will be a lot of mobile phone deals upcoming, so no worries about the 'bundle' of multiple xfinity services being slightly cheaper.
Show the local sports team or lose, just like a lot of our local sports teams.
But Astound does! Unfortunately for me I just switched over to Xfinity from Astound and they already signed a deal with the Chicago sports network so I guess I'll be switching back to Astound. At least they care about their customers and give their customers what they want! I'm very disappointed with Xfinity at this point, they just don't give a damn about their customers or what they want! Xfinity customers are already paying RSN fees to watch local sports teams and I have not seen any credits since the NBC Sports Network ceased operation so if they don't cary the new CHSN chennels they better credit everyone! I've never seen a company that went out of their way NOT to give their customers what they want like Xfinity is doing in this case!! Bye Bye Xfinity!!!
