Great question @Hellofaname613 Xfinity allows its TV subscribers to access their cable service on cable boxes, but you can also use different 3rd party devices as well with the Stream App. We work with equipment manufacturers to bring the Xfinity Stream app to compatible Amazon Fire TV devices, Apple TV devices, LG Smart TVs, Roku devices and other partner devices. The app offers live broadcast channels, linear cable channels, cloud recordings and Video On Demand, all without having to rent an Xfinity TV Box. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-stream-app-faqs
@XfinityDena What I want to know is, if I do not have a computer, smart tv, smartphone or any other devices that could download the Xfinity stream app, would a cable box be needed in order to receive choice tv limited basic channels?
Yes, you would need our equipment if you don't have a device that can use our streaming app Hellofaname613.
