Finally We Get the Detroit Sports Network Announced as being on XFinity Channel 1253

Hello @TWhite99, this is playing on channel 1253, If you go to that channel and it tells you that you need a supbscription then we may need to change your TV package for you to gain access. Have you been able to watch the channel at all yet? 

No. I payed for the subscription but it does not work on my Xfinity.

Yes it is still available at 1:30 for me as well I  chat with AI and what a waste of time. 

Did you ever get the channel to work? 

NO! AI is useless!!

It's unwise to say "next to the bell icon" unless you somehow know that the poster is using a desktop or laptop computer. These have a "bell" icon for notifications, but many posters are using phones or tablets, and many (most? all?) of these mobile devices do not have a "bell" icon -- they handle notifications in a different way.

When employees direct the enormous number of users of mobile devices to an icon that does not exist on their screens, it's an unfortunate and confusing waste of time for those users. It also runs up the company's support costs and further tarnishes its reputation. 

I go to channel 1253 and it says you need a subscription. I have tried and tried but get no help

@XfinityNatalie​ I am not that person who originally posted their question but I have the ultimate package and 1253 does not work. I type in 1253 on the remote and the TV goes to 1255. Any idea why?

Hello @user_7mpsh7, thank you for your comment. When you try going to channel 1253, are you getting an error message? 

Negative- the receiver will not generate channel 1253
