According to an article in the Minneapolis Star-Tribune from March 15, the league, which controls Twins.tv, has not come to a deal with any cable or satellite service yet concerning having the channel on their system, and probably won't until just before the Twins' opening day. You may end up having to pay to stream it separately (and I don't think Xfinity is going to have an app for you to watch it on your TV if that's what you do).

Just read today that Xfinity will broadcast 2025 MN Twins games on channel 1261. Not sure if there will be an extra charge for adding this channel to an already-in-place Xfinity account/channels lineup???

@user_shf2es - I am pretty sure that: (a) if you can already get the channel on Xfinity on your current level of service, then you can try getting some sort of refund from MLB, or (b) if you can't get the channel on Xfinity, you might as well keep the streaming version, since having it won't mean that Xfinity will add it as a channel just for you
Hello user_shf2es, that's great to hear you purchased MLB Extra Innings directly from MLB.com! When adding Extra Innings via Xfinity, it must be done with us or with MLB, as the renewal options are specific to either channel.

@ThatDonGuy We have purchased the Twins app. Our home internet and our cable TV are both though Xfinity/comcast. our package currently costs over 200.00, but we have ignored updates. we cannot get the streaming package we purchased through mob to work and xfinity channel says we need to buy a different package. does the fact that we have internet through xfinity mean the package we purchased through mob won't work on our smart tvs?? Must we then purchase even more to get it 1261 to work? Sounds like bait and switch!

I purchased the package through MLB. Can I get it added to my xfinity account to watch since already purchased?
