LG 70UQ900PUD

Im having a terrible issue with this LG TV. It will NOT let Xfinity stream run. When I try to log in I get the error message:  Attempting to resume weve run into a problem; and then,  This video cannot be played this device can only access Xfinity Stream on your in home WIFI.

I have removed and reinstalled the app 2x. This is ridiculous - is it Xfinity or is it the TV? If its LG please LMG so I can contact them. All of the other stream apps work excellent except Xfinity.

Thank you for reaching out to us @user_cxv2kn! You mentioned receiving an error message stating the device needs to be connected to your in home WiFi. Is the LG TV connected to the same Xfinity WiFi on the account with the cable subscription?

Hello-

    No its not. But ONLY the LG TV asks that question. None of my other TVs have this issue. Is this an LG only issue?

Thank you for clarifying that @user_cxv2kn! The Xfinity Stream app on Xfinity TV partner devices such as an LG TV require being connected to the in-home internet linked to the Xfinity TV subscription. For more information we have this article.
