Local channel "Movies" (channel 381 in Albuquerque) no longer is working. Why am I paying for this channel when it no longer functions correctly?????

user_a6dk94 and @user_6fyn5j Thank you for reaching out! We are aware of an issue with customers in New Mexico seeing a black screen when tuning to KUPT channel 381 or 1172. Our engineering team is working on the issue, and we hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.

@XfinityMartyR​ -This is one of our family's favorites. This issue has been occurring for over 7 days, yet my bill is still at full price. The Xfinity app does not show an outage, so no credit is available. The Xfinity app is very poor at resolving  customer service issues. 

Please advise where our issue goes from here. Basically Xfinity has violated the terms of service contract.

12/14/2024, 5:50pm mst. Both channel 381 and 1172 (Movies) are both now displaying "This channel is no longer available". Is this a permanent change??????

Thank you for your time tonight @user_a6dk94 Yes those channels are still available there is just an issue with those 2 channels that our engineering team is working on fixing. I do apologize at this time we do not have an ETA when that service issue will be resolved.-Richard

Yes, I too have lost my very favorite TV channel: MoviesTV! For the last two weeks, the screen says, "There's a problem with your connection." Not! I even replaced the TV box and still no MoviesTV. As of today, the screen says, "This channel is no longer available." Say it isn't so. Please return me to Channel 381 where I can watch the best TV ever and only.  I await somewhat patiently. Thank you.

Both 381 and 1172 show a purple screen, in white lettering "This channel is no longer available". Meet Me  In St. Louis shows as the selection to be playing currently, BUT IT IS NOT!

Not only did Comcast lose the Movies channel 381, but it was also offered OTA and it also went missing. I just would like to know who to talk to to find out why.
