Missing channels on Xfinity

Hello,

I recently purchased a 185 channel premium subscription with

Xfinity in order to begin receiving the Marquee channel which  I believe is offered to the greater Chicago viewing area.  After obtaining Marquee I noticed that I had lost service for the TCM (Turner Classic Movie) channel, one of my favorites.  After making four phone calls to Xfinity customer service when each rep assured me that the channel would be restored within an hour.  One rep even offered to give me a free internet speed upgrade.  As of today, 1/21, nothing has been accomplished and I still don't have either Marquee or the upgraded internet speed.

Hi there, @user_8i8r89 thank you so much for taking the time to reach out. I do apologize for the inconvenience this is causing you regarding your channel line up. Since it's been a few days since you last posted, were you able to get assistance?-Richard

@XfinityRichard  Hello!  I finally spoke with a rep by the name of Preethika who advised that the Turner Classic Movies channel is now part of an upgraded Sports and Features channel costing an additional $9.95 per month.  I opted to drop one of our home cable boxes which cancels out the additional cost so figured that's probably the best  I could do.

As of this writing TCM is still not restored but I'll wait until tomorrow before I take any other action.  I do have a receipt number for the upgrade which I can refer to if necessary. I had to go through four different reps to get someone who did not deceive me or fail to follow up.  Quite a frustrating system for the paying customer.

Thanks for asking!
