Missing Channels suddenly

My subscription has been the same and had no renewal necessary or term limit. As of today, 6/6/2024, suddenty I cannot get MSNBC, CNN or anything really beyond basic 10 channels. But yesterday  I had all.  Still paying a hefty $145 per month for interent and cable TV! For that price, just 10 channels?  Did Xfinity pull a fast one and just reduce things out of the blue...So confused-I am current on my payments monthly.  Frustrated and frustrating!

Log into the Xfinity website and see what it claims your current level of TV service is.

Good evening @GLRobin. Are you getting any error messages when you try any channel besides the basic ones?

Yes that is right.  I think what has happened perhaps is that for quite a while, I was getting many channels for my epxensive monthly plan.  They did some upgrades to the xfintiy in my neighborhood and things haven't been the same since.  Perhaps I was getting channels for all these years that I should not have been getting?  And now with their improvements, so-called, I am getting only the basic 10 + channels. but how could it be that MSNBC and CNN are not among the "basic" channels?

In any case, it was a sudden change and I have changed NOTHING--one day it got them and the next day, YES, ERROR messages--Not authorized.

Thanks for your reply.  Error message on all channels except the basic. I would trade CNN or MSNBC for Fox which continues to  be allowed!  Lol!

Thanks for your assistance.
