MLB Innings
Despite having paid for the MLB innings package a baseball game was blacked out last night. This doesn’t make any sense since I paid all this money to be able to watch any game. Can someone please explain this not worth the money if I can’t actually watch the team that I paid to watch.

Hi there, @user_qerpxu As a huge baseball fan, I understand how frustrating blackouts are. It's possible the baseball game was blacked out due to MLB.TV's blackout policy, which restricts viewing of certain teams' games in specific locations. This policy aims to protect the exclusive broadcast rights of regional sports networks. Even with an MLB.TV subscription, certain games may still be blacked out based on your location. -Richard

Which game? If it was Red Sox-Braves or Yankees-Dodgers, those were exclusive to Apple TV. Unfortunately, MLB Extra Innings does not include the rights to games that are otherwise available nationwide (e.g. on ESPN); this is one reason companies like Apple TV pay through the nose for "exclusive" rights to certain games. The same applies with the NFL's Sunday Ticket package and games on, for example, Peacock or Amazon Prime.
