NBC audio cutting in/out

Our audio feed for NBC has been cutting in and out for several days now.  It is virtually unwatchable.  Other channels seem fine, and we have no issue on streaming devices or Peacock.  I have checked cables and cycled power on the cable box.  Please advise.

@XfinityTony​ Thanks for responding.  Honestly, we do not watch the SD channels so I cannot say.  We see the issue primarily in the evening on local NBC (HD) channel.  We do periodically watch the same channel in the afternoon, and do not notice the issue.  We have been watching the channel this evening, and it has occurred only twice - unlike Sunday evening when it was so unbearable we switched to Peacock for the game.  It is worth noting that this is not the first time this has occurred.  Also worth noting that we do not see the issue on the app (laptop or iPad) which suggests (at least to me) that the cable feed may be the root cause.  Hope this helps...

Is this happening mostly during live broadcasts, prerecorded content, or is there no difference between the two?

Not exactly sure about the question.  We are noticing it primarily on programs like NFL games (live) and The Voice (live).  It is happening this evening (Monday) again during The Voice.  We don't, however, notice it during Saturday Night Live (live) - and don't recall noticing it during other programming.  The question was not answered.

Try going to another channel and then back to NBC. That usually works for me

Watching St Dennis on xfinity ch 13 wrex

sound keeps cutting out but not during commercials.  Been having the same issue on an off for weeks

Thank you for your addition, @user_ad1403. Are you seeing the same issue on any other programs or channels? Also, is this in HD or SD? It would be awesome if you could test both since those are sent to you via different frequencies.

@CC_Tony​ I have the same issue. It is on the NBC HD  (channel 906 - local news is WREX) recordings, ALWAYS during Tuesday shows that recorded between 7pm-8pm (St. Denis Medical and Night Court) and it occasionally happens during other shows.

Fox Channel 390 audio has been off all day today.  All other channels in my subscription have audio.  Will someone please fix this!  This happens all the time with Xfinity TV.  Programs freeze and then restart.  Audio goes on and off with random channels.  This is so annoying!  I think as customers we are getting the runaround. Xfinity knows this problem exists but chooses to do nothing about it.  The Xfinity "chat assistant" is of NO help.  Could a living, breathing human being get on top of this problem?  Please listen to this ongoing complaint.
