Hey there BitsyB, we appreciate you joining us here on the community forums! Is the channel not working at all for you? If so, are you receiving an error code or message when trying to access it, or do you just get a blank screen?

I replied that it has a message about Scripps owning channel and refusing to accept Xfinity offers.

The screen says: This channel is unavailable

Our contract with Scripps, the owner of this channel has expired.

Thanks for clarifying! We don't have information about a credit for the expiration just yet, but please know that Comcast is working toward bringing back this programming, but only with fair pricing, terms, and conditions for customers. I know unexpected changes to your TV lineup can be frustrating, and I apologize for any inconvenience. For more information, visit https://www.xfinity.com/programmingchanges.

This is FOX! Not ESPN 8. to make this channel unavailable on a current sub subscription and to not give a credit is insane. if this were football season, it would be outrageous.

How many seasons do I have to worry about Xfinity showing the Tigers game due to their continuous greedy spats with networks? Again tonight I can't watch them because my car-payment sized cable bill somehow doesn't include Fox, one of the biggest television networks in the world. Criminal.

And Xfinity employees, stop replying to customer posts by blaming the other side. Nobody wants to hear your one-sided propaganda. Just get it done.

Comcast pays programmers to bring you the entertainment you love, and a number of reasonable offers have been made that they haven’t accepted. Comcast is working toward bringing back this programming, but only with fair pricing, terms, and conditions for customers.
