no tv channels but artificial unintelligence says there's no issues

Can someone get with me to help figure out why I have no channels?  The automated support doesn't seem to be able to get past restarting the box.  Well, I've already done that but it's a TIVO box.  Automated response also says there are no issues in my area but here I am with a black screen. There seems to be absolutely no way to actually talk to a real person & this situation seems to need it.  I get the need for profits but this whole automated system is an absolute joke!!!

user_023uzz If you are experiencing no TV channels on your TiVo box, ensure it is properly connected to a Comcast TV Box or a TV Adapter. For Series 1 and Series 2 models, a TV Adapter is necessary to receive all channels, while Series 2 Dual Tuner DVRs require a Comcast TV Box for full functionality. Additionally, if using a CableCARD, note that it only allows access to one-way digital channels and does not support Xfinity On Demand or pay-per-view services.
