Regional Sports Fee still being charged in Minneapolis Area - WHY?
I am being charged a Regional Sports Fee on my latest bill even through I am unaware of any regional sports channels in our local lineup. How do I get this fee removed from my bill. Since the Minnesota Wild games are not part of the Regional Sports package (at least not as of this date), I see no reason to be charged this fee.

Thanks for reaching out. I can understand why the Regional Sports Fee would be confusing, especially if you're not seeing any regional sports channels that you're interested in watching. The Regional Sports Network (RSN) fee is generally tied to the cost of carrying regional sports programming in your area and may still apply even when channel lineups or sports broadcasting rights change. For customers on certain legacy Xfinity TV packages, this fee is billed separately and can be adjusted over time based on programming and market costs. For customers on newer Xfinity TV packages, regional sports costs may already be included in the package price rather than appearing as a separate line item. Please let us know if this helps.
