Sports team recording - how can I set it to record only LIVE/new shows?

I have a recording set up for my favorite college football team. In addition to the weekly live game on Saturday, it's now recording all the reruns of that same game during the week. While I'm a big college football fan, I don't need to see the reruns (if I want to watch the game again I'll just replay the original recording).

When I try to modify the sports team recording there is no option to set it to LIVE/new. The options are: Always, Once a day, or Once a week. None of these options will give me the desired results. If I choose Once a week, it records the first upcoming game it finds, which may or may not be the LIVE/new game. If I wait until Saturday morning to set the sports team recording, that won't work in situations where my team may play its live game during the upcoming week.

Something must have changed since last year's college football season, because I've had this recording set up for years and this is the first time I'm seeing this problem. Please help out a fan and tell me how to fix this!

Hello and thank you for taking the time out of your day to post a question to our boards. I am here to help! Have you tried setting up the recording through the X1 Sports App? Just press "C" on your remote and navigate to your favorites. You may need to set your team as a favorite first.

Thanks for your response. In the meantime I figured out that recording options are different depending on whether I am using the Xfinity Stream website or the Xfinity menus on my box. The option I wanted was available through the box, but not the website. Issue solved, no further help needed.
