Sudden removal of MASN in Franklin County, PA
I want some insight into what happened to MASN, which broadcasts Orioles and Nationals games and has been carried in our area as long as there have been regional sports networks in Franklin County, PA. A few days ago, it disappeared from our TV. This is a channel you recently moved to an upper tier and charged a substantial extra fee to watch as a settlement in one of your frequent disputes. Calls to customer service have given a wide variety of useless answers. This happens in late August out of nowhere during a baseball season with no explanation to subscribers. Is this permanent? What is the situation?

I've spent the last week trying to get answers and haven't had any luck. They made us upgrade to the Ultimate plan specifically so that we could still have MASN and MASN2 in March

On August 20, 2024, Xfinity will no longer have the rights to offer MASN and MASN2 in your area as it is outside of the approved territory determined by Major League Baseball. You can continue to watch the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles by subscribing to MLB Extra Innings. As a result of this change, the Regional Sports Network fee for services that include Digital Preferred Tier or Ultimate TV Tier will decrease from $14.65 to $11.55 per month, a $3.10 monthly savings

Even though MASN is no longer on Xfinity in Franklin County, you can still watch the games free on the MASN app and MASN.com by selecting Xfinity as your TV provider. I know it isn't the same as watching it on your TV, but at least you can view the games.
