Hello @user_gqs3ir, and thank you for reaching out on our Xfinity Community forums.
I can certainly understand how frustrating it would be to start seeing TV errors immediately after swapping equipment, especially when the box continues asking for a restart but doesn't appear to complete one successfully.
A few things you can try:
If you have an X1 TV Box, press and hold the power button on the front of the box for about 10 seconds to initiate a restart. You can also restart it by unplugging the power cord from the back of the TV Box, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging it back in.
If the box is connected to a gateway, it's also worth restarting the gateway/modem first, allowing it to come fully online, and then restarting the TV Box afterward.
Please let us know the exact wording of the error message you're seeing, whether you're using a wired TV Box or a wireless TV Box, and whether the issue began immediately after activating the new modem. Those details can help narrow down whether we're looking at an activation, connectivity, or equipment communication issue.
