WEST CHANNEL

Why won't Xfinity fix the onscreen channel guide to not show the WEST channel info on channel 1167 instead of the on air programming of METV+ which is what is actually showing on air?  SF Bay Area

What do expect for $200/ month? I've had to pay $12 extra and get the Frndly tv app get these channels w/ guide and recording until Comcast figures it out.  It took over a year for them to sync the guide with TIVO for METV+.

What in God‘s name are you talking about? Why am I supposed to fix this problem? This is an Xfinity problem. They are showing channel listings for a channel called WEST with a bunch of cowboy shows on instead of showing the channel listings for the programming, they are indeed showing. And just in case you’re wondering, yes, I have rebooted my system several times

tvlover I apologize for any confusion. METV+ is broadcast through local channels only. They would be responsible for reporting the time the METV lineup is available to us so we can update the guide. If the local network is not reporting that to us promptly, that can cause misinformation in the guide. You can try a system refresh by saying refresh into your voice remote to make sure that it is updated, so you are not resetting your box again. We can report to the local network that the guide is incorrect as well, with a ticket if needed.  If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. Give it up - they don't care - it's not worth burning calories trying to fix.  The bot has 2.6K useless answers locked and loaded.

Do any of you experts actually read or research any of these questions before replying? It seems everything is always boilerplate replies. I think what happened was West Channel was supposed to broadcast over the air on a particular Channel and for months you've been promoting it coming soon on this channel however when I looked it up because I do research before I provide an opinion the channel is KTLN 68.7 over the air since this is an additional sub Channel that Comcast is not required as a must carry it appears MeTV+ will remain but it would be nice to update your program guide.
