A device we don't have

Hi there, we have just installed a new 150mps Internet speed with a rental device. The technician came with the right device and installed the right bandwidth. However, on his system, he also informs us that we had another black device that he would like to retrieve back. We don't have it though. Can somebody contact me since we do not want to get charged on something we do not have?
