Activating Next Gen Speeds for my S34 Arris Modem

Xfinity just did the Next Gen upgrade where I live so I should be able to get faster uploads and downloads.  I'm currently on the fastest 1200/35 plan I could get.  What do I need to do to get my Arris S34 Cable modem working with the faster speeds?  They're definitely still stuck on the old speeds.

Hello, @user_qy1d1t congratulations on having your neighborhood enhanced for faster upload speeds. Have you power-cycled your modem to make sure It's provisioned for the increased speeds? Send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!

The faster speeds were automatically configured by Xfinity one week after they completed all of the equipment upgrades for our neighborhood.  I actually received an email from them.

Yes, everything has been working fine.  The faster upload speeds are great.   Uploads went from 42Mbps  to 360Mbps.  Downloads went from 1400Mbps to 2100Mbps.  Very nice improvements.
