AI Customer Service is Terrible and not solving issue, how do I get around this?

I have tried everything to get a real person on the line. I am being charged for security services I do not have and have never had. I have called multiple times and even been told this had been resolved, it has not and now I am getting the run around from [Edited: "Profanity"] bots who deny being bots and refuse to connect me to a live agent no matter what I say. This is absolutely ridiculous and I might honestly find a new provider because of this.

Hello, @user_ffm6b5 thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. This isn't the experience we want you to have and understand the frustration with being billed for service that wasn't used, being told it was resolved, then having trouble getting in touch with support to get this resolved. You've contacted the right place for assistance, I'd like to help get this corrected for you. To ensure I'm assisting on the correct account, I'll need to gather some information we don't want here in our public conversation.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?

To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
• Click the "Start new message" (pencil and paper) icon
• In the "To:" line type "Xfinity Support" as you type the drop-down list which appears. Select the "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window, please add your full name and address
• Press Enter to send it

Literally don't see any of this anywhere on the website or my account page. It is just an AI chat assistant. Is there a phone number I can call for a human representative?

@user_ffm6b5 I've worked with new users here on the Forum and found that at times there is a profile setting that may be set up by default. When you have time > go to your profile settings >look for opt-out option of direct messaging > if this has a check mark next to that you would want to toggle that off and save the update.

The phone number contact is 1-800-Xfinity (934-6489), but again wanted to assure you that our team can help here if you're able to get the direct message sent to us. I appreciate your time working with me so far.
