Awful customer service
Hi,
I missed a call from Xfinity so I called back to make sure my account was ok. The customer representative I got was VERY rude. He said he couldn’t pull up my account until I told him how much I spend per month. I told him I don’t what it is because it should be set up as an automatic payment. I asked him to look it up another way, he said my phone number wasn’t on the account and he needed another phone number to use. He started asking me a bunch of random questions… Then I told him that I really don’t care to call in because I feel like I always get the runaround so can he just stick to my request instead of asking me a bunch of questions.
this is when he started to get very rude. He started being extremely sarcastic and mocking me. He said he couldn’t pull up the account unless I told him how much I paid. I told him the account should be right in front of him. He then proceeded to say that he cannot pull up my account unless I tell him what I pay monthly. Just to clarify, because he had a very strong accent, I repeated the question. He laughed, and in a mocking tone “ Yes, I’ve asked you that many times “ And then chuckled… I told him I don’t know what I pay because it should be on automatic payments and then said that the amount should be in front of him. He cut me off and said “if you hate calling us so much then stop calling us!” Seriously?

Hello @user_k4k8w6 Thanks for reaching out. Sorry you had to experience this. But I do want to make sure this was us that you spoke to. We don't need the balance to find the account or access anything. But this is a common questions scammers ask. Do you know the reason that was provided for the call? What number did you call to connect to that person?
