Burlington/South Burlington/Essex/Williston Vermont Data Coverage

Hello,

I’ve had Xfinity Mobile for several years and have four mobile lines and two device payment accounts. For over 3 months my service has gotten much worse. At work in South Burlington, about a quarter mile from the Comcast/Xfinity building, I usually get only one bar. At home, I’m lucky to get two. Now I’m often unable to use mobile data at all.

I’ve switched my phones and devices to LTE, restarted the devices, and turned cellular service off and back on, but the problem continues. My coworkers with AT&T and T-Mobile have strong service in the same area. When I first switched to LTE I was able to use some data, but this past month I cannot use it at all.

Could you check whether there’s an outage, maintenance, congestion, or other network issue affecting my home and workplace? Or plans to add more towers in the area? I don’t’ want to switch over to another provider, but I also need the service to work.

Hello, @BWAGNER_VT. Thank you for reaching out! Sorry to hear about the trouble you've had diagnosing and resolving this mobile concern. Our team would love to help in whatever way we can! Since you have already tried restarting and toggling LTE, let's have you try some deeper device-level steps.

- Reset Network Settings: This refreshes cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connections without wiping personal data (note that you will need to reconnect to Wi-Fi networks afterward).

- Verify APN Settings: Ensure your Access Point Name (APN) settings match current Xfinity Mobile configurations, especially since network handoffs can occasionally corrupt these profiles.

- SIM/eSIM Refresh: Are you using a physical SIM card or eSIM? A physical SIM card could be degraded or worn out after several years, and switching to a new SIM or reprovisioning the eSIM could resolve persistent low-signal issues.

First, let me know if you need any help trying these steps. Then, if we do need to take a closer look at your account(s), we'll let you know by prompting you for a direct message.

I have done all those steps. Keep in mind this issue is not with one device, it’s with several devices. Also, they are eSIMs on al log them.
