Cable consistently going out for the last year

Xfinity has been unable to fix my 87 year old father's cable in a year. Constantly going offline. What is wrong with the service and product. Between virtual and phone calls. I am out of my my mind. For a house bound elder man unacceptable. And they wonder why people are cutting the cord . I'm giving them this week to fix and trying another company.

Hello @user_t57634 Thank you for taking the time to post on our community forum. I understand that it is frustrating when your services are not working the way they should. Have any technicians gone out to your fathers house to check the lines?
