Cable Running to house

Hi,

The comcast cable that runs to my house is low and unsightly. Is it possible to get it removed? We do not use Comcast, but I also feel like it should be buried, or just removed.

As a homeowner I would be concerned of a low hanging cable line in my property as I agree they don't look very nice and with having young children I had would hate for them to grab that line.

Could you please send us a direct message including your name, account holder name (if different), and the service address so we can get started. Myself or one of my awesome colleagues will respond as soon as possible.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

Hi snyderjam! Thanks for reaching out to us on our Xfinity Forums. Great question for your coaxial cable connections. Prior to entering your home the coaxial cable should be grounded and connected to a ground block before entering your home. Has your home been connected with Xfinity services before?
