Cancelling Plan and Switching to NOW services

I have tried to switch no the NOW services but I keep going around in a loophole. Can someone just help me schedule a future cancellation of my current service and have me switched to NOW?

We can assist you from here with the disconnect order on the internet service. The only option to order the NOW internet service is at the https://www.xfinity.com/support/now site.

Do I need to do something about the disconnection? Can it be for August 4? We are still in need of internet because of work and school. Then after am I able to shop for NOW services?

That would be no problem at all. You can always set up a disconnect order with a stop service date of 8/04, and then order the NOW service. They would send out the modem for that NOW service once the order is placed.

There are a couple of options available to set up a disconnect order. You can do that through your Xfinity app or at the Xfinity.com site as well as over the phone. We can also assist with that from here if needed.
