Chat agent gave fraudulent number
I was chatting with a live agent about a fee and services that were added to my account without consent. I wanted them to get it off my bill due to it almost doubling my total monthly fee. The chat agent told me they couldn't do that over chat and sent me a phone number. They sent 1800-565-4329 which they claimed was their disconnection team. The first time I called, it was a hotel reservation line. The second attempt at calling was a health aid device. The third attempt it told me the phone number was not available in my area. Why are chat agents giving out fraudulent numbers?
