Comcast email using Apple Mail not accessible after Sunday November 1, 2025

As of  Nov 1, 2025, I am no longer able to access my comcast email on my iPhone, iPad or Macintosh.  There was no notification from Xfinity, it just ceased to work.  I can still access my email via the Xfinity web site but not on my devices.  I was using a Pop account.  I had been a Comcast customer for many years in New England and retired to Green Valley, AZ and do not have Comcast service here.  I was thankful to be able to still keep my Comcast account because of the many applications linked to this account.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for reaching out to our team here. With the email service attached to an inactive account the best option for assistance with that would be to contact the security team at the https://spa.xfinity.com/contact-us site or contact the 1-888-565-4329 directly.

Thank you for your reply.  (It seems) that I have managed to get Comcast email working on my iPhone and iPad but using the exact settings on the iMac keeps returning an error saying it is unable to verify the User or password.  Since this is the exact user name and password as the iOS devices, I am stumped.  When I try to verify the servers I can see that the outgoing server keeps switching to "Offline" and back again.  I have a very strong internet and WiFi signal, but the failure says that there is a problem with my username or password.  However they are the exact entries as those input into the iOS setup.  I am not modifying existing settings, I actually deleted the account from the devices and set them up as new.  I will make use of the xfinity contact information you provided if I don't hear any other suggestions to try.  Thank you.
