Comcast ran a fiber line accross my property without my consent

Comcast ran a fiber line accross my property to connect to my neighbor's house.  There is no easement and I did not consent to this.  I want this line removed before it is buried.

user_clw0zg Thanks for reaching out about a line recently installed on your property with no easement applied. I've never heard of this being possible as all utilities and roadways require them for all properties to prevent being landlocked for the owner, but if that is the case we can make sure to get the help needed. Do you have any documents from the local government office showing there has never been any easement placed on your property for utilities at this time I can share with our construction team by chance?

There is an easement along the road, but not one on my side yard.  I have reviewed my survey, title work and even searched the register of deeds for a recorded easement on the side yard where the fiber is currently laying and there is not one.  If comcast feels there is an easement there, then I will need some legal proof.

user_clw0zg Thanks for the additional details of where the line is currently. I'll have to get this to local construction who handles drop bury requests before they send someone out to bury it.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" If necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person".

Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
