Connecting Google cast (Onn or Roku) streaming devices to Xfinitywifi

I purchased a wifi now pass (30 days for $10) and I'm having issues connecting my streaming device (Onn full HD streaming device) to the wifi. When I select the network, Xfinitywifi, it doesn't prompt me to enter in a username or password. I did some research and I believe it has to do with the 2.4ghz and 5 GHz frequency settings. Please help...

Good morning @Frankosan314, and thanks for posting your question to the Xfinity forums, I hope this message finds you well. I am sorry to hear about the issues you are having with the NOW WiFi pass on the TV, I know how frustrating that can be. When it comes to the NOW WiFi pass, we are limited on the support we have available, most of the troubleshooting for NOW is done through the Xfinity app. The issue might be because the TV doesn't have a web browser, there is no way for the verification of the user ID and password to pop up like it does on devices that do have a built-in web browser.

Correct. There is no browser for me to enter in my credentials. I'm guessing there's no way around this....

The "xfinitywifi" SSID is not encrypted, and as with other insecure SSIDs, does not require a username or password.

In order to use the Xfinitywifi network you most definitely need to have paid for the service and therefore need to enter credentials (username and password). The problem is my TV doesn't have a browser for me to enter in such info. Thanks for your time
