contact information for escalation

I am requesting an urgent escalation of a continuing complete Internet outage.

Earlier today, an Xfinity technician came to my home and determined that the outage involved Xfinity equipment/network facilities outside my home. I was subsequently notified by Xfinity that the repair had been completed.

However, my Internet service has not been restored. My Xfinity gateway is still flashing amber/orange and cannot establish an Internet connection. I have completely powered down and restarted the equipment and the problem persists.

The Xfinity Assistant confirmed that the gateway is not visible on their end and has now scheduled the earliest available technician appointment for tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. This appears to be a continuation of today's outside-plant/network problem rather than a new Wi-Fi or inside-equipment issue.

I work entirely remotely and depend on this Internet connection for my business. I am requesting that an Xfinity employee review today's technician notes and maintenance history and escalate this to dispatch/network maintenance for same-day review if possible.

Please confirm whether whether the earlier maintenance ticket was actually closed, and whether this can be escalated for an earlier dispatch or plant-maintenance response.

I have retained the 1:00 p.m. appointment tomorrow as a backup.

@user_94l1h1, I appreciate you providing those details, and I'm sorry to hear you're still without service. I understand you would like confirmation about the maintenance ticket and a revision of the technician's notes. Please send us a direct message with your full name and address.
Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary.
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support."
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
Press Enter to send it.
