Credit on account

On July 6 I discovered that my TV was not working.  I was not able to get Xfinity channels on my Samsung TV.  I unplugged it waited and turned it on again.  So, I called Xfinity Customer Service, and we tried a series of tests to get the Xfinity channels to come on to my TV.  After the 30 minutes, the Customer Service Representive said that they will schedule a technician to come out.  Okay I said.  At first the visit was scheduled for July 24, but because I am a "diamond" member the visit was changed to July 14.  The Representative said that I would receive a credit on my next bill for my inconvenience. However, prior to July 14 I received two calls from Xfinity personnel asking me if my problem was solved???  and they got me to go through various tests of unplugging the cable box again and again.  NO! I said....so they sent the technician.  The technician must have spent an hour at my house.  He said that there was a problem with the wiring on the outside of my house.  The problem was solved.  I received a new bill.  No credit????  I called to inquire about the credit and was left hanging on the phone for one hour.  I eventually hung up.  I went to the new Xfinity store on Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE.  A tall poorly dressed salesperson in need of a haircut and shave said that that particular store does not handle customer service complaints, (so why are they there?)  I would have to call or go to the Xfinity store at the Christina Mall in Newark, DE.  I refuse to go to the Christina Mall.
