DAMAGED IRRIGATION LINE DURING BURIAL

While burying my Xfinity cable line recently, the contractor cut my underground irrigation system line. My HOA had to arrange repairs, which cost $439.40. They have sent me the invoice and photos of the damage showing the irrigation line cut in the same spot where the new cable was buried.

This damage was caused by Xfinity’s contractor, not by me, and I am requesting that Xfinity cover this cost through a damage claim. Please advise on how to proceed so my HOA can be reimbursed.

I have the full invoice, photos, and the HOA’s email confirming the situation.

Hello user_pv7xmr I am very sorry to hear we cut the irrigation system line. We would be happy to cover the cost and can get a damage claim submitted for you. We appreciate you  having the invoice and other information prepared. To get started on that process please send us direct message with your full name and the service address.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
