Damaged Xfinity Pedestals & Exposed Wirin

I manage a multi-family residential property with multiple Xfinity/Comcast utility pedestals located throughout the property. Several of these pedestals are damaged or open, with exposed wiring that needs to be addressed.

I have contacted Xfinity multiple times regarding this issue. On each occasion, I was advised that the matter would be addressed; however, the equipment remains in the same condition. I am requesting assistance in getting this matter escalated to the appropriate local field, maintenance, or construction team for resolution.

Specifically, I am requesting that Xfinity inspect the equipment on the property, determine which equipment and wiring are still active, and repair, secure, replace, or remove the equipment as appropriate. If any of the equipment or wiring is abandoned or no longer necessary, I am requesting that it be removed. If it remains active, the damaged/open enclosures and exposed wiring should be properly repaired and secured.

I am happy to provide photographs, the property address, and access to the property as needed. Please provide a service request or ticket number for this matter and have the appropriate local Xfinity representative contact me so that we can get this resolved.

Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to hearing from someone who can help bring this matter to completion.

@XfinityBillie

Thank you for responding. I am the manager of the multifamily property and am not an Xfinity customer, so I do not have an Xfinity ID or account to access the Direct Message process you described.

This is not an issue with an individual customer account. It concerns Xfinity infrastructure located on the property. There are multiple damaged/open Xfinity pedestals with exposed wiring that need to be inspected and addressed.

We have attempted to get this addressed through Xfinity on multiple occasions over the years and have repeatedly been told that someone would take care of it, but the condition remains unresolved. At this point, the damaged pedestals and exposed wiring are a property maintenance and potential safety concern for our residential community. I am requesting that this be escalated to the appropriate local field, maintenance, construction, or outside-plant team.

I have photographs available and can provide the property address and access for an inspection. Please let me know how I can provide this information without an Xfinity account, and please help me obtain a service request/ticket number and appropriate point of contact so this can finally be resolved.

Thank you.
