Does changing my plan start a new one-year agreement?

Hello. I am wondering if changing my current one-year promotional plan to a different one-year promotional plan enters me into a new agreement. As in - I'm only living in my apartment for a few more months, and I don't know if switching plans will force me into a whole new annual cycle, rather than ending the one that I started a few months ago. I was having trouble searching for this question, and would appreciate any help provided.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Thanks for posting on our community forums for assistance, planuser5707. That's a great question. It all depends on the offer you choose. Most of our newer offers don't include a contract and only have a promotional rate for a certain amount of time. Are you changing your plan online? Or do you need assistance with it? We can help check what promotional offers are available for you. Could you please send our team a Direct Message with your name and service address? Our team can take a further look.
