email issues Xfinity deleted folders

It's happened again... in 2023, 2024 and now again in 2025. Xfinity has blown away my email "Sent Folder". I called this morning, spent an hour talking to the rep and explaining this was the 3rd time this has happened, I was told it would take 2-3 hours to generate a "Restore File" and have it send to me. I check back 2 hours later and the geniuses send me a "Restore File" of my "Inbox"... not a one sent email in the file. I call back asking why they would sent that to me and all I get is a "sorry for the inconvenience sir"... "I will put in another request".

Is it me, or do these [Edited: "Inflammatory"] lie to everyone, just to satisfy the person asking the question knowing full well they are giving you a [Edited: "Language"] just so you'll hang up and know you'll never be able to track them down and call them on their lie?

gundarsb If your "Sent Folder" in Xfinity Email is missing, it may be due to using the POP email protocol, which can lead to issues with missing emails. It is recommended to switch your configuration to IMAP for better email management. Additionally, ensure that your folders are not hidden; you can check this by clicking the triangle icon next to "My folders" or the "Hide Folders" option at the bottom of the screen.

Thanks for the reply... nope, using imap. Xfinity sent me a "new" recovery folder with 2 recent files... rocket scientists these people are not... I'm ready to say [Edited: "Language"] and recreate it myself.

Hi to Xfinity,

For the past 4 days I have been able to log in and then the Xfinity system automatically logs me out. Can't access my email or any of my mobile information. The message from Xfinity says:

'We are currently experiencing an outage and technical difficulties. Account functionality may be limited at this time. Thanks for your patience while we figure it out."

What is happening, this has been going on for over 4 days.?
