user_lf7fb6 Good morning, and welcome to our Xfinity Forums Platform. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to our team. You can check to see if the contents of the email you have received have been reported through this site for legitimacy. May I ask what the nature of the email you received was? Was it advising your email had been accessed, or that you needed to access your email to continue with your email box?

It suggested that I need to sign in to accept new terms, otherwise I would lose access to my Mailbox.  Is Xfinity requesting this, or is it a scam?

Can you describe the nature in which the email is requesting you agree to new terms? We do have some email notifications going out to customers right now regarding an upcoming transition, so it could be regarding that.

I have received two emails today that say they are from Comcast and that if I didn't click the link and accept the new terms of service I would lose access to my email. The first one said I would lose service today and the second one I got said I would lose access on 6/29/25. The email addresses didn't seem legitimate and the links were both different. The first email subject is Important Information from Comcast with a green box with a check mark in it. It came from;

[Edited: "Personal Information"]>

and the link is Sign in now and update email account

The second email subject is New Update Reminder

Sent from COMCAST..<[Edited: "Personal Information"]

and the link is Click here and Re-lin and Update now!

Are these a scam?

I suggest to not click on any links in the email and to log into your Comcast email account on the website directly. If you have clicked any link please reach out to Customer Security Assurance. You can contact CSA by calling CSA Toll-Free Number: 1-888-565-4329. @user_g2ljmc
