Escalation for an uncompleted installation done by a third or fourth party contractor
Escalation
Request: Subcontractor left property damage/exposed lines. Requesting Paid Custom Installation by In-House Comcast Employee.
Body: Three days ago, an independent subcontractor installed a new Xfinity modem at my residence. The technician left the outside Comcast box completely open with multiple wires exposed and tangled, creating a physical maintenance hazard. Before leaving, the technician verbally stated that a maintenance ticket would be put in to address a low SNR caused by an inaccessible attic splitter. No one has contacted me in three days.
Resolution Requested:
I am requesting a senior, direct Comcast In-House Technician to resolve this. I am fully prepared to pay any premium service/installation fees required. I want the technician to perform a custom "home run" installation: run a new 25-foot line directly from the outside box, drill through the exterior wall to the modem location, and completely disconnect the defunct attic splitter from the main input line.
