Extreme Concern with Xfinity Chat (Live Representative)

Hello,

I was seeking assistance with a post-install issue via the chat system. I got the help and appointment I needed, but was really a strange interaction towards the end. Questions started getting personal, seemingly prying or trying to form a close relationship. He then (I can't recall his exact name off hand) offered a "surprise" for me. He later said it was for a free 11th Gen iPad! It was a hyperlink that looked sketchy in itself, then when it was opened, it looked extremely basic and asked for SSN first and foremost. I immediately closed it, and ended chat. This is the hyperlink that was provided: https://iguard-po-1pp.slb.comcast.com:9443/ui/?6VbZCFt732YPdB1htBu4DC

It almost certainly looks like a scheme to get personal data, direct from an Xfinity representative!

Can someone from Xfinity confirm/deny, and help further? If this happened to me, I'm sure it's happening to many others!

Thanks,
Amanda

Hello tappaman830, you're definitely right to be cautious with links that don't look familiar, in speaking with general online safety tips. We do use iguard to secure mobile orders, so that link isn't suspicious. Are you able to view or edit your tech visit when you log into the Xfinity app? What type of issues were you running into?

I can't seem to find or view my upcoming tech visit that he said was scheduled. Can you point me to the right spot within the app? Thanks for your help.
There's a lot of dead low-voltage wiring that was supposed to get cleaned up when they did the install today, but unfortunately didn't get completed.
